La Diversion
a beer that hides its game well
Our master brewer decided to play a trick on us for this Episode, but all in good fun.
For this very special beer, our taste buds are distracted by fruity aromas that secretly hide a robust character and 8% alcohol content. But it’s just a Diversion. This is afull-bodied, surprisingly drinkable New England IPA. How does it manage to pull off this surprise? Meet the unexpected walk-on guest character and special hop itself: Nelson Sauvin. In a double Diversion, it brings subtle grape notes to the taste, reminiscent of white wine. We know we said it was a trick, but it’s a good one, right?

How to taste
Behind its fruity aromas hides the robust character of an 8% beer as well as a rich and juicy body. If your taste buds pick up subtle grape notes that resemble white wine, you are absolutely right! It is thanks to Nelson Sauvin, this very particular hop added to this brew. The result is this double NEIPA with explosive aromas of cantaloupe, mango and white grapes.
